Overview

7 day special Safari departing from Nairobi and returning to Nairobi or Diani Beach via flight, first to the Samburu Game Reserve, Aberdare, then to Lake Nakuru and then to the Masai Mara.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
We pick you very early in the morning after your breakfast and depart for Samburu National Reserve through Mt Kenya passing through the Equator line in Nyanyuki town. You will arrive with a short game drive en-route to the Lodge or Camp for check in and have your lunch. Later afternoon game drive across the park which has unique wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp or Samburu Sopa Lodge or Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 2: Samburu
Early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast full day spend in the reserve with packed lunch boxes in search of more Animals. All meals and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp or Samburu Sopa Lodge or Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park
Early morning breakfast at your camp or Lodge. After breakfast leave Samburu for Aberdare arriving with a game on the way to the Lodge/Camp for check in and Have lunch. Afternoon transfer across Aberdare’s park to The Ark Lodge. The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!. Later dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.
Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast, After your breakfast leave Aberdare for Lake Nakuru, passing through the Great Rift Valley escarpment, arriving in time for lunch and check in at Lodge/Camp. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s great masses of Flamingos, but currently due to climate change and high water levels, only few flamingos can be seen. You will also see the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara a 5 hours drive, passing through Narok town, which is the famous Masai town. You will arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Lodge/Camp . Afternoon more game drives inside the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo. Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Camp or Oloshaiki Camp or Olumara Camp. Other alternative accommodation in the Masai Mara are: Mara Governor’s Camp ; Royal Mara Safari Lodge ; Ashnil Mara Camp ; Karen Blixen Camp
Day 6: Masai Mara
Early morning game drive and return back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast full day spent in the park with packed lunch boxes in search of Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Meals and overnight at Fig Tree Camp or Oloshaiki Camp or Olumara Camp. Other alternative accommodation in the Masai Mara are: Mara Governor’s Camp ; Royal Mara Safari Lodge ; Ashnil Mara Camp ; Karen Blixen Camp
Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi or Flight to Ukunda Airstrip
Early morning breakfast at your camp or lodge. Then check out of the park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch.Optional to our clients having Beach Holiday at Diani Beach, they will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for their 2:00 pm Flight to Ukunda Airstrip. Then be dropped at their coastal hotel.
